Platinum Jewelry

PLATINUM has always been prized as the premier metal for the very finest jewelry! When used to craft jewelry, PLATINUM is always at least 90% pure, and usually 95% pure, platinum. It is naturally beautifully silvery-white and requires no additives to achieve this pure color. It is incredibly strong and durable, perfect for setting with precious gemstones.

Platinum jewelry is generally more expensive, which often makes it significantly more desirable.  It has this great value, not only because it is extremely rare, but because it is nearly pure when used in jewelry.  For example, 14k gold is only 58% gold, with the other 42% is alloys of other less expensive metals. PLATINUM is usually 95% pure.

Unlike many other metals, PLATINUM is not brittle, and it will stretch and bend, but not break or shatter. Although incredibly strong, it is somewhat soft and will develop a hazy patina when worn over time, giving it a unique appearance. While it can always be re-polished to a brilliant shine, most PLATINUM wearers appreciate it's soft, almost glowing, natural finish.
