Morganite and Diamond Rose Gold Wedding Set

When our master jewelers at Gem of the Day™ located these stunning 2 1/2 carat Morganite Gemstones we knew we had to design a very special ring to compliment the beauty of this gem. For over a month our designers and goldsmiths worked to create the perfect design. We even carefully created the 14k Rose Gold Setting to match the color and brilliance of the center Morganite gemstone. Here you see the results of this creation, perhaps the most beautiful ring we've ever designed.

To create the perfect design we used one hundred and three (103) round diamonds, carefully matched SI-1 clarity and G color, to complete the ring. The engagement ring sides use an infinity design to symbolize your infinite love. The wedding band was then crafted to match seamlessly with every contour of the engagement ring, accenting the Morganite and diamond design. These diamonds total over .63 carats total weight and each is hand set by our master jeweler.

The Morganite is eye clean with no visible flaws or imperfections. A gentle pink blush graces this amazing gemstone, part of the Beryl family of gems. The Gem Wizard™ color is designated 31-2-1. What this means to those who are not gemologists is that the stone is lightly, but very evenly, saturated with a beautiful light pink color. The stone is cut in a classic emerald step-cut. The Morganite's length is 8.95 millimeters by 7.06 millimeters width. The stone's depth is 5.64 millimeters

Morganite was named after the famous banker and mineral collector, J.P. Morgan. As mentioned above this gentle pink gemstone is part of the beryl family that also includes Emeralds and Aquamarines. The very light pink color is due to traces of manganese found in the stone. Morganite is said to create a sense of calm, serenity and happiness in those who wear it. It is said to enchant anyone who comes within eyesight of the stone.
